CDT - Community Drug Team

The Community Drug Team (CDT)

The Community Drug Team is the main service in Stockport for drug users aged 18 or older, offering advice, information and support about drugs, their effects and other related issues.

Anyone who has a drug problem can use this service - you can refer yourself or another service can make an appointment for you.

The service offers a full assessment of people's needs to make sure that people get the treatment that would help them the most. Everyone who uses the service has a plan designed especially for them, that may include talking therapies and prescription of substitute medication to help them cut down, stabilise or stop using drugs.

The CDT can help you if you would like to detox, need in-patient treatment or need a residential rehab placement. They can also help you with a range of other issues, such as general health problems, housing and employment.

There is also a specialist team working with drug using offenders, to help them get out of crime and then get the drug treatment and support they need to stay out of crime.

The CDT is open Monday to Wednesday between 09.00 and 5.00, on Thursday between 09.00 and 6.30 and on Friday between 09.00 and 4.00
