Progress2work (p2w)

The service is for unemployed people, aged 16 - 65, who are recovering from drug misuse and are able to claim benefit. It will support people who are drug free, or are stable, to help them get into - or stay - in work.

You can make an appointment for yourself, or your local job centre, drug service or probation office can arrange an appointment for you.

The service offers advice, guidance and support to help you get into employment, and can help you with training, confidence building and life skills. They can help you overcome barriers such as accommodation and debt issues, plus how to declare convictions and offer information on the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act.

Once you are in employment, p2w will continue to support you for the first three months of the job.

The p2w service is open from Monday to Thursday between 09.00 and 5.00 and on Friday between 09.00 and 4.00.
